Terms of Service

Effective January 1, 2025Last updated January 2026

Please read these Terms carefully. They contain an agreement to arbitrate disputes on an individual basis, a class-action waiver, disclaimers of warranties, and limitations of liability.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, purchasing access, connecting a fantasy platform, uploading a roster or screenshot, using Aaron, joining a LeagueIQ-managed league workspace, or otherwise accessing the Service, you agree to these Terms and to the policies incorporated by reference, including the Privacy Policy, AI & Aaron Policy, Fantasy Sports Disclaimer, Subscription & Billing Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Cookie Policy, Copyright & DMCA Policy, and Community Guidelines.

If you use the Service for an organization, league, household, or other group, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that group. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirements

The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase a subscription, act as the legally responsible commissioner account holder, or enter into a binding payment obligation.

We may request age or identity information when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate abuse, or validate account authority.

3. Description of the Service

LeagueIQ provides software and informational tools designed to help fantasy-football participants and commissioners organize leagues and evaluate football-related information. Features may include:

  • commissioner workspaces, league invitations, event and poll tools, and roster-management utilities;
  • Aaron, an AI-assisted football intelligence agent;
  • summaries of NFL news, team updates, practice reports, coach interviews, beat-reporter coverage, public social-media signals, historical trends, and other sources;
  • roster, lineup, transaction, matchup, waiver, trade, and draft analysis;
  • upload and optical-character-recognition ("OCR") tools for roster screenshots and other supported files;
  • integrations with Yahoo Fantasy Sports and other third-party fantasy platforms that may be added later;
  • notifications, personalized daily summaries, and other communication features; and
  • experimental, beta, preview, or limited-availability functionality.

Features, source coverage, refresh timing, usage limits, and availability may change. We do not guarantee that any particular integration, data source, player, league, feature, or AI model will always be available.

4. LeagueIQ Is a SaaS Platform, Not a League-Dues Processor

IMPORTANT NOTICE: LeagueIQ sells access to software. LeagueIQ does not collect, hold, escrow, safeguard, distribute, adjudicate, or guarantee fantasy-league dues, entry fees, prize pools, reimbursements, side payments, or winnings.

Commissioners and league members may independently use services such as Venmo, PayPal, cash, bank transfers, or other methods, but those arrangements are outside the Service and are solely between the participating users and the applicable payment provider.

LeagueIQ is not responsible for:

  • collecting or returning league dues;
  • determining who owes or receives money;
  • confirming whether a commissioner distributed prizes correctly;
  • resolving disputes about payouts, forfeitures, penalties, trades, league constitutions, or house rules;
  • tax reporting associated with prizes or transfers; or
  • losses caused by a commissioner, league member, payment provider, or other third party.

Do not send league dues or prize-pool funds to LeagueIQ or represent that LeagueIQ guarantees a league's finances.

5. Accounts and Account Security

You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, connected accounts, devices, and authentication methods. You must promptly notify us at support@leagueiq.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable safeguards. You may not share credentials in a way that circumvents pricing, access controls, league limits, or security restrictions. We may require reauthentication, revoke sessions, or suspend access when we reasonably believe an account is compromised.

6. Commissioners, Managers, and League Workspaces

A commissioner or account administrator may invite other users, assign roles, create league events or polls, upload league information, and configure settings. The commissioner is responsible for:

  • having authority to create and manage the league workspace;
  • obtaining any permissions required to upload member information or league content;
  • accurately describing league rules and commissioner decisions;
  • managing member access and removing former participants;
  • handling league dues and prizes independently of LeagueIQ;
  • complying with applicable laws, platform rules, and league constitutions; and
  • ensuring that invitations, reminders, and communications are appropriate.

LeagueIQ does not act as commissioner, arbitrator, fiduciary, trustee, escrow agent, or league governing body. We may provide organizational tools, but commissioner decisions remain the commissioner's responsibility.

7. Aaron and AI-Generated Information

Aaron uses automated systems, including artificial intelligence, information retrieval, ranking, summarization, statistical methods, and rules-based logic. Aaron outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, inconsistent, or based on sources that later change. Confidence labels, draft grades, player rankings, risk indicators, and similar outputs are estimates—not facts or guarantees.

You must independently verify important information, especially injuries, inactive lists, starting lineups, game status, suspension news, transaction deadlines, and league-specific rules. Aaron is not a substitute for official NFL, team, fantasy-platform, or league announcements.

Aaron does not provide legal, financial, medical, tax, fiduciary, gambling, sportsbook, or investment advice. Use of Aaron is governed in greater detail by the AI & Aaron Policy and Fantasy Sports Disclaimer.

8. No Betting, Gambling, or Guaranteed-Outcome Service

LeagueIQ is designed for season-long fantasy-football information and league administration. It is not a sportsbook, casino, gambling operator, paid-entry contest operator, bookmaker, or wagering adviser.

We do not accept bets, set betting lines, hold gambling funds, or guarantee outcomes.

You may not use the Service to operate unlawful gambling, facilitate unlicensed wagering, evade geographic or age restrictions, or present Aaron outputs as guaranteed betting picks. Statements such as "start," "sit," "draft," "trade," "waiver," "confidence," or "projection" refer to informational fantasy analysis only.

9. OCR, Uploads, and User Content

The Service may let you upload screenshots, images, text, rosters, league settings, messages, logos, or other material ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant LeagueIQ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, process, transform, transmit, display, and use User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, support, and provide the Service and as described in the Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide User Content. Do not upload:

  • government identification numbers, financial-account credentials, health records, or other unnecessary sensitive information;
  • copyrighted broadcasts, paywalled articles, or proprietary materials you lack permission to use;
  • private communications of others without authorization;
  • malware, exploit code, or content intended to compromise systems; or
  • content that violates law or another person's rights.

OCR and image interpretation may misread names, teams, player positions, scoring settings, or other details. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting extracted information before relying on it.

10. Connected Accounts and Third-Party Integrations

You may authorize LeagueIQ to access supported third-party services. Your use of those services remains governed by their own terms and privacy policies. You authorize us to request, receive, cache, refresh, normalize, and display permitted data from connected services for the purposes you request.

Third-party integrations may be unavailable, delayed, restricted, modified, or discontinued. We are not responsible for a third party's systems, data accuracy, account decisions, security, policies, rate limits, or service interruptions. You may disconnect an integration through available settings, although cached information may be retained for a limited period as described in the Privacy Policy.

LeagueIQ is independent and is not sponsored, endorsed, or operated by the National Football League, NFL Players Association, Yahoo, ESPN, Sleeper, CBS, or other third-party leagues, teams, players, media outlets, or fantasy platforms unless expressly stated in writing.

11. Public Sources and "From The Gram"

The Service may summarize or link to publicly available posts, reports, interviews, and commentary. "From The Gram" is a LeagueIQ feature label for analyzing public social and media signals; it does not mean the Service is operated by or affiliated with Instagram or Meta.

Third-party names, trademarks, posts, quotations, images, and links remain the property of their respective owners. Summaries may omit context. You should review the original source where available. We may remove, suppress, or correct material when we receive a credible rights, safety, or accuracy concern.

12. Subscription and Fees

Unless a different offer is clearly presented at checkout, the LeagueIQ Commissioner Plan costs $29 per NFL season and includes one managed league and full platform access for the applicable season. Each additional league managed under the same account costs $9.99 per season.

Taxes, payment processing, refunds, expiration, promotions, cancellation, and any renewal terms are governed by the Subscription & Billing Policy and the disclosures shown at checkout. LeagueIQ may use a third-party payment processor. LeagueIQ does not directly store full payment-card numbers.

13. Seasonal Access and Renewal

A season pass provides access for the applicable NFL fantasy season identified at purchase. Unless checkout clearly states otherwise and you affirmatively consent, a season pass does not automatically renew. We may offer renewal for a later season at then-current pricing.

Some account information may remain available between seasons, but premium functionality, live data, AI access, integrations, or commissioner tools may be limited after the season term expires.

14. Communications and Notifications

You may receive transactional communications regarding account security, subscriptions, invitations, connected leagues, events, polls, roster changes, feature updates, or support. You may also opt in to product or marketing communications. You can manage non-essential communications through available settings or unsubscribe links.

Push, email, or in-app notifications may be delayed, filtered, duplicated, or not delivered. Do not rely on a notification as your sole method for meeting a waiver, lineup, draft, trade, payment, or other deadline.

15. Ownership and Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, user interfaces, Aaron, LeagueIQ branding, designs, data organization, scoring methods, proprietary prompts, compilations, and documentation, is owned by LeagueIQ or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal fantasy-football participation or internal league administration. No rights are granted except as expressly stated.

You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, extract, scrape, republish, create a competing dataset from, or commercially exploit the Service except where such restrictions are prohibited by law or we give written permission.

16. Feedback

If you submit suggestions, ideas, feature requests, or other feedback, you grant LeagueIQ a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use and incorporate that feedback without restriction or compensation. This does not transfer ownership of your User Content.

17. Acceptable Use

You must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. Among other things, you may not misuse the Service, interfere with security, harvest data, impersonate others, harass users, infringe rights, automate excessive requests, operate illegal gambling, or use LeagueIQ to distribute malware or deceptive content.

We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, preserve evidence, or cooperate with lawful authorities.

18. Beta and Experimental Features

Features labeled alpha, beta, preview, experimental, or similar may be incomplete and may change or stop without notice. Beta features may have reduced support, different retention, or additional risks. You use them at your own discretion.

19. Service Changes and Availability

We may modify, add, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the Service. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted operation, any minimum uptime, permanent storage, or recovery of every item. Planned maintenance, provider failures, cybersecurity events, legal demands, and events beyond our control may affect availability.

20. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe that you violated these Terms, created risk or harm, failed to pay, abused an integration, infringed rights, compromised security, or used the Service unlawfully.

Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to cure. Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate termination. Sections that by their nature should survive—such as ownership, disclaimers, limitations, indemnification, dispute resolution, and accrued payment obligations—will survive termination.

21. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information. By using the Service, you acknowledge those practices. Where consent is required by law, we will request it separately.

22. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." LEAGUEIQ DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND RESULTS.

We do not warrant that:

  • Aaron or any projection, recommendation, summary, confidence score, or ranking is correct;
  • source data is current, complete, licensed for every use, or free of error;
  • you will win a league, draft a particular player, avoid injuries, complete a trade, or achieve any result;
  • integrations, OCR, notifications, or third-party services will work without interruption; or
  • the Service will be free from harmful components or unauthorized access.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

23. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEAGUEIQ AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITY; FANTASY-LEAGUE LOSSES; MISSED DEADLINES; DUES OR PRIZE-POOL DISPUTES; OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF LEAGUEIQ FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO LEAGUEIQ DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

The limitations apply to all theories of liability. They do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including certain liability for intentional misconduct or personal injury where applicable.

24. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LeagueIQ and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your User Content, your league administration, your collection or distribution of league dues, your violation of law, your infringement of rights, or your material breach of these Terms.

This obligation does not require you to indemnify LeagueIQ for LeagueIQ's own fraud, willful misconduct, or liability that cannot be indemnified by law.

25. Informal Dispute Resolution

Before filing arbitration or litigation, the claimant must send a written notice describing the dispute, requested relief, and relevant account information to legal@leagueiq.ai. The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute for at least 30 days. This requirement does not prevent either party from seeking temporary relief necessary to protect safety, security, or intellectual-property rights.

26. Binding Individual Arbitration

Except for excluded claims described below, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its applicable Consumer Arbitration Rules. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section.

Arbitration may take place by video, telephone, documents, or in person as permitted by the rules. The arbitrator may award the same individual remedies available in court. LeagueIQ will pay arbitration fees to the extent required by applicable law and AAA rules.

Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies. Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or unauthorized access to intellectual property, accounts, or systems.

27. Class-Action and Jury-Trial Waiver

YOU AND LEAGUEIQ AGREE THAT CLAIMS MAY BE BROUGHT ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, REPRESENTATIVE, OR PRIVATE-ATTORNEY-GENERAL ACTION. YOU AND LEAGUEIQ WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

If a court determines that applicable law prevents enforcement of this waiver for a particular claim or remedy, that claim or remedy will proceed in court after all arbitrable claims are resolved.

28. Arbitration Opt-Out

You may opt out of the arbitration agreement by emailing legal@leagueiq.ai within 30 days after first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your full name, account email, and a clear statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out will not affect other Terms.

29. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs arbitration. For claims that are not subject to arbitration, you and LeagueIQ consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California, subject to any consumer-protection law that requires a different forum.

30. Export and Sanctions Compliance

You may not use or export the Service in violation of United States export-control or sanctions laws. You represent that you are not prohibited from receiving the Service under applicable law.

31. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version and revise the effective date. If a change materially reduces your rights or materially increases your obligations during a paid season, we will provide reasonable notice where required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms, except where additional consent is required.

32. General Terms

These Terms and incorporated policies are the entire agreement concerning the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder will remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of the Service. Headings are for convenience only.
