Sharad came to the US from India at the age of 9 and grew up in San Mateo, CA — two blocks from a kid named Tom Brady. In those early years, sports wasn't just a game. It was the entry point into a new culture, the shortcut into friendships, and the language of the neighborhood.
That love never left. For the past 10+ years, Sharad has been the commissioner for his community and friends leagues — wrangling dues, settling disputes, chasing waiver claims at midnight, and building traditions that outlast any single season. LeagueIQ.ai is the platform he always wished he had.
Today he lives in Danville, CA with his wife and three kids, still a die-hard sports fanatic, and still commissioner of the group chat. He's also the founder of Recouply.ai.

LeagueIQ started as a side project for a 12-team dynasty league that could never keep dues, waivers, and side-bet payouts straight. We wanted an operating system that treated the league like a franchise: real books, real intelligence, real accountability. What began as a spreadsheet is now a platform used by commissioners across the country.
